DDLJ goes to Kannada remake

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge – the mother of all poignant romantic film is all set to make its way into Kannada film industry. Kannada film industry’s leading actor Ganesh often ennobled as ‘Golden Star’ will perform the role of Shah Rukh Khan. Produced by Rahman, the film has been titled as ‘Maduve Mane’ (House of Marriage) and will start rolling from January. So, who’s gonna make it as female lead of enacting Kajol’s role? Earlier, producer Rahman requested Genelia D’Souza and she couldn’t sign the project since she was preoccupied with other films. Now, they’re onto discussions with Kajol’s sister Tanisha who made her debut in South Indian film with Telugu movie ‘Kantri’ and later in Tamil flick ‘Unnale Unnale’. It’s worth mentioning that DDLJ is still running successful over 13th year in Ram Mandir theatre. by rakhi
